The DTICI Bus‑CAE‑CFD Simulation Analyst (T9) will lead computational fluid dynamics studies to assess and optimise the aerodynamic and thermal performance of truck buses at the complete vehicle level. The role involves setting up simulation models, executing analyses, interpreting results, preparing detailed documentation, and communicating findings to cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Develop and execute CFD simulations for full‑vehicle aero‑thermal performance.
- Create accurate geometry and mesh models using industry‑standard tools.
- Validate simulation setups against experimental data and benchmarks.
- Analyse flow, heat transfer, and pressure distribution results.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports summarising methodology, findings, and recommendations.
- Present simulation outcomes to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with design, thermal, and aerodynamics teams to integrate CFD insights.
- Maintain and improve CFD workflows, scripts, and automation scripts.
- Stay updated on latest CFD technologies and best practices.
- Support troubleshooting of simulation issues and provide technical guidance.
- Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR‑CCM+, OpenFOAM).
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, heat transfer, and vehicle‑level simulations.
- Proficiency in meshing techniques and grid independence studies.
- Experience in post‑processing and data visualisation
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of automotive standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
