We are Vehicle Architecture team in MB Engineering Center department of Daimler truck innovation Centre India.

We are part of MB trucks Vehicle definition team responsible for Concept layout for all new vehicle programs.

This role is for MB Trucks Vehicle Architecture team and candidate should posses following experiences and know how:

1. Experience in Entire vehicle activities for commercial vehicles ( Heavy Duty Trucks and Medium Duty Trucks).

2.Exposure to OEM processes for entire vehicle Concept Layout and Integration.

3.Knowledge of Powertrain Packaging, Wheel Base, FOH and ROH Layout experience.

4.Experience in Vehicle Digital mockups (DMU) Management - DMU Build, DMU Check, Clash and clearance and conducting DMU review meetings.

5. Experience in creating vehicle level drawings including Full vehicle and powertrain drawings.

6. Working knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle and other Zero Emission vehicles.

7. Knowledge of eComponents, HV Battery and epowertrain or edrive packaging layout for Battery electric vehicle.

8. Knowledge of characteristics management for trucks especially on weight management.

9. Knowledge of vehicle and component regulations e.g. ECE, FMVSS & TRIAS.

10. Knowledge of homologation documentation and vehicle type approval process with different certifying agencies.

9. Knowledge of Vehicle and component digital validation and testing.

QualificationsQualifications

Bachelor/Master of Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or Automobile
Experience in OEM is preferred. Total minimum experience of 2 years in the domain is preferred.
Knowledge of NX and Product Life cycle management tools like Teamcentre will be preferred
Language skills: English fluent, good communication skills, meeting moderation skills.
Good team player, highly motivated individual.
