Skilled in transmission concept definition, performance calculations, DFMEA, GD&T, validation planning, and leveraging engineering tools such as KISSsoft, ROMAX, CAE, and 3D modeling software. Proven track record in prototype development, failure analysis, field issue resolution, production support, and driving cost and weight optimization initiatives through design innovation and validation.

Good knowledge of all components of Transmission & their functions
Design & development experience of Gears, Bearings, Synchronizers, Shifting system & Housings
Design & development of Proprietary Transmission parts with suppliers
Defining new concepts / layouts for Transmission Sub-systems
Selection of a transmission for a vehicle based on performance calculations & considering B10 Life
Exposure to 3D Modelling softwares, KISSsoft, ROMAX, CAE Softwares
Expertise in defining the GD&T on drawings for transmission components
Expertise in performing DFMEA of all Transmission components & Overall Aggregate
DVP definition along with Testing team on both Bench & Vehicle level
Good Knowledge of Manufacturing process, Materials used & Metrology of Transmission parts
Experience in prototype development for different parts of transmission
Experience on Failure investigation, Root Cause analysis and countermeasure implementation
Experience in Root cause analysis & Solution implementation of Field failures
Technical support to production team to solve concerns
Idea generation, Design Release, Validation & Implementation of Cost & Weight Reduction measure
