Senior Technical Lead Passive Safety_T7

1. Lead the development and industrialization of simulation-based validation methodologies for ADAS functions by transforming real-world measurement data into reusable, parameterized virtual test scenarios. 

2. The role focuses on enabling efficient validation of functions such as Active Lane Assist (ALA), Active Brake Assist (ABA), and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) through advanced scenario generation, automation and virtual verification.

3. Person will work closely with global ADAS development teams, simulation experts, external partners, and tool suppliers to build scalable processes for converting measurement data into OpenDRIVE and OpenSCENARIO based virtual environments for ADAS validation.

 

  1. Lead the development of simulation methodologies for ADAS function validation using measurement-based data.
  2. Drive the transformation of data into virtual validation environments for ALA, ABA, and LDP functions.
  3. Define and mature end-to-end workflows for generating parameterized ADAS test scenarios from vehicle measurements.
  4. Establish best practices, standards and automation frameworks for scenario generation and simulation-based verification.
  5. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers within the Active Safety domain.
  6. Understand partners expectations, requirements and translate into work planning, Also in parallel keep team and partner updated on project status through mail/Chat/meetings
  7. Interactions with CAE teams, Design teams and other cross functional teams.
  8. Will be responsible for all results shared by the team by reviewing the results and providing countermeasure as needed
  9. Prepare self-explanatory reports with adequate post processing, explanations and provide directions as summary and next step

  1. Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical/Automotive Technology from accredited Indian or Global Engineering schools.
  2. Strong understanding of Truck Vehicle dynamics, Active Safety functions & Product Knowledge in Commercial Vehicles
  3. 8-12+ years of relevant experience in ADAS, Active Safety, CAE, simulation, or virtual validation
  4. Work with tools such as Simpack, Vehicle Test Toolkit (VTT), Vehicle Proving Ground Tool (VPGT) or Open-source scenario and simulation tools 
  5. Strong Problem Solving Skills
  6. Very good understanding on the regulatory requirements for Active Safety.
  7. Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams
