About the Role

Education & Training
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Relevant Experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience in automotive electronics, ECU development, V&V, and communication networks.
2. Skill Requirements
Core Technical Skills
- Excellent proficiency in automated test case development, CAPL scripting, and hands‑on experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical network architecture.
- Expertise in automotive communication protocols:
- CAN (Mandatory)
- SAE J1939 (Mandatory)
- LIN
- CAN‑FD
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with:
- Component test bench setup and testing
- Functional testing
- Vehicle-level log analysis
- Solid understanding of UDS and J1939 diagnostics.
- Good understanding of general automotive features, system behavior, and requirement interpretation.
- Experience with requirement‑based testing, regression testing, defect analysis, and closure.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication, stakeholder interaction and presentation skills.
- Proactive, structured, and detail‑oriented approach to testing and issue resolution.
Additional Advantage
- German language proficiency (candidates with < 6 yrs experience may be considered if proficient in German).
3. Job Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Identify and evaluate signals across CEEA+ networks for routing, both with and without application logic.
- Support architecture, design decisions, and requirement refinement for EE components.
Verification & Validation
- Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports based on requirements.
- Develop automated test scenarios using CAPL, and execute tests using CANoe.
- Perform component-level, functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Conduct in-depth vehicle log analysis, identify issues, and support debugging.
- Support V&V activities at I‑HIL, component bench, and vehicle level.
- Ensure timely defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
Project & Release Management
- Manage development and series support for EE components for Mercedes‑Benz Trucks & Buses.
- Ensure compliance with functional requirements, legal standards, and quality targets.
- Manage requirements specifications, including functional safety aspects.
- Prepare and manage documentation, release notes, and database updates for component releases.
- Support coordination with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Generate and release ECU coding as per program requirements.
Coordination & Support
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (architecture, diagnostics, systems, testing).
- Support sample handling, including vehicle builds, I‑HIL preparation, and validation setups.
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
