Inside the Role
The Financial Administrator is a member of the Marketing Operations Team and is responsible for performing accounting activities in support of all members of DTNA’s Marketing and Strategy team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating and processing contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods received confirmations, and tracking new budget requests through all stages of the approval process. This individual also leads ticketing activities for the marketing team’s Motorsports program, ensuring Freightliner dealers and customers are issued tickets on time and accurately.This position requires working with key stakeholders and across teams in Marketing & Strategy, Controlling, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with DTNA’s required policies and practices. The position includes coordinating meetings and presenting information to members of OpCom.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must, with the ability to maintain deadlines, identify errors, and notify appropriate team members of additional inputs needed in a timely manner. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to clearly communicate detailed information to all levels of the organization, answering inquiries and providing updates to management and executives on a consistent basis.

Position offers a starting hourly pay range of $25.48 - $32.69 HR. USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
Coordinate and process all purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and good receipt (GR) confirmations for all members of the Marketing & Strategy team.
Manage the PO approval process and authority matrix with Sales and Marketing OpCom Member. This includes scheduling meetings, running the meetings and presenting the requests in an organized and timely fashion.
Work closely with project managers and cost center owners to ensure accuracy and compliance of PR, PO, and GR requests, ensuring all required information is provided, submitted information is accurate, and follows DTNA’s procurement and accounting processes.
Coordinate approval process with L3 executives.
Coordinate and process all contract requests (ex – hotel room blocks, trade show booths, etc.), following DTNA’s required process and maintaining compliance and accuracy.
Maintain a close working relationship with new truck controlling and procurement colleagues, coordinating required and requested reporting and tracking.
Manage PO requests through DTNA’s approval chain, providing updates to the project managers and cost center owners and identifying and gathering any missing information.
Lead the ticketing process for Freightliner’s motorsports program, working closely with the Brand Marketing team and Freightliner dealers to ensure ticketing is accurate and timely.

Optimize processes by bringing forward new ideas and identifying process improvement opportunities and finding efficiencies in work.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Associates Degrees and prefer 3 years of relevant experience
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Possess strong communication skills, working across stakeholders and identifying areas of escalation
Work proactively and possess strong follow-up skills if deadlines are approaching or information is missing
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams outside of their direct reporting structure, supporting and providing timely information to multiple stakeholders
Understand DTNA’s procurement process and compliance policies and be able to identify and communicate to team members when requests are deviating from process or compliance policies
Understand the stakeholders and departments responsible for each process stage and know who to approach when escalation or resolution or issues is needed
Professionally present themselves and represent the brands (Daimler Truck, Freightliner, Detroit and Western Star) to the Dealer network as part of the Motorsport activities.
Working knowledge and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and TEAMS
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Prior experience with internal DTNA accounting / procurement systems (ex – CBFC, SAP, etc)
Role Structure & Flexibility
This position is designed as one full-time role, with the flexibility to be structured as two part-time roles based on business needs and candidate availability, with the final structure to be determined at the time of hiring.
