Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Inside the Role

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator ensures the accurate and timely movement of goods within the Canton Product Distribution Center (PDC). Reporting to the Administrative Operations Manager, this role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, maintains inventory and system accuracy, manages trailer scheduling, and serves as a key liaison between logistics, quality, and warehouse teams to support daily operations and customer service goals.

Position offers a starting hourly range of $27 - $36 Hr. USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage trailer scheduling, dock assignments, and material flow to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Process and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in SAP EWM, DView, and other warehouse management systems.
  • Verify shipping documentation, receipts, and goods movements for accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
  • Conduct audits of received goods and coordinate inspections with quality teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, accounting, quality, and administrative teams to support daily operations.
  • Monitor, track, and report shipping, receiving, and inventory performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce delays, and improve shipment accuracy.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and automation initiatives related to shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits, compliance, and vendor payment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, regulatory standards, hazardous material handling guidelines, and carrier requirements.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution center experience.
  • Experience with SAP EWM, DView, or similar warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory control, freight documentation, and warehouse processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with freight claim resolution, vendor invoice reconciliation, and transportation coordination.
  • Experience in cross-dock, high-volume, or multi-site distribution center operations.
  • Knowledge of international shipping requirements, import/export processes, or hazardous materials compliance.
