The architect develops architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices while providing expert guidance for network integration, transformation initiatives, and complex architectural demands. Working closely with Network Engineering, Security, Service Owners, Regional IT Teams, and Managed Service Providers, this role ensures secure, scalable, resilient, and standardized network solutions across APAC, EMEA, North America, and LATAM.
Enterprise Network & Security Architecture
- Define and maintain global network architecture blueprints, standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Provide architecture leadership for:

- WAN & SD-WAN Connectivity
- Network Security Services
- Firewall Architecture

- Ensure architectures are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
- Establish reusable design patterns and architecture standards for global adoption.
Architecture Advisory & Demand Management
- Act as the primary architecture advisor for enterprise networking and security initiatives.
- Support demand intake, architecture reviews, and complex problem resolution activities.
- Assess business and technical requirements and translate them into secure and scalable solutions.
- Conduct architecture governance reviews, risk assessments, and design validations.
- Support strategic programs requiring network and security architecture expertise.
Wireless, 5G & Emerging Technologies
- Define architecture standards and best practices for:
- WiFi 5, WiFi 6, and WiFi 6E
- RF Design and Wireless Optimization
- 802.1X Authentication
- WPA3 Security
- Private 5G Networks
- LoRaWAN Connectivity
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business requirements.
Zero Trust & Network Security Transformation
- Lead architecture initiatives supporting enterprise Zero Trust strategies.
- Define segmentation frameworks, policy models, and secure access architectures.
- Drive integration between network infrastructure, NAC platforms, IAM solutions, and security controls.
- Establish security architecture standards for identity-based access and policy enforcement.
- Support enterprise-wide security transformation and modernization initiatives.
Network Segmentation & Microsegmentation
- Define and govern enterprise segmentation and microsegmentation architecture standards.
- Lead initiatives supporting east-west traffic protection and Zero Trust enforcement.
- Act as architecture owner for common firewall policy governance and ruleset standardization.
- Define secure segmentation patterns across campus, data center, cloud, and remote access environments.
- Partner with security and operations teams to ensure consistent implementation globally.
Enterprise Connectivity Services
Provide architecture oversight and technical leadership for:
- Secure Employee Access VPN (SEA-VPN)
- Third-Party Access VPN (3PA)
- Proxy Services
- Secure Connectivity Services
- Internet Access Services
- Additional enterprise connectivity services as assigned

Network Transformation & Migration Architecture
- Design target-state architectures and migration strategies for network modernization programs.
- Develop rollout approaches supporting brownfield-to-target architecture transitions.
- Provide architectural guidance during technology refreshes, migrations, and global deployments.
- Support transformation governance and rollout steering activities.
- Ensure architecture compliance throughout implementation lifecycles.
Monitoring & Observability
- Incorporate observability, telemetry, and monitoring requirements into architecture designs.
- Utilize performance metrics, traffic flow analysis, and operational insights to support architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve service visibility and operational intelligence.
- Ensure future-state architectures support proactive monitoring and service assurance capabilities.
Global Rollout & Provider Collaboration
- Partner with Managed Service Providers, technology vendors, and regional IT organizations.
- Support global deployment and rollout activities across all regions.
- Provide architectural guidance during implementation and operational transition phases.
- Ensure consistent adoption of standards and best practices globally.
Documentation Governance & Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain:
- High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Architecture Standards
- Design Guidelines
- Reference Architectures
- Best Practice Documentation
- Govern architecture repositories and documentation quality standards.
- Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives through Teams, Viva, SharePoint, and technical communities.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement programs for engineering and operations teams.
- Promote adoption of architecture standards and reusable design patterns.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related discipline.
