Position SummaryThe Transportation Analyst II is responsible for overseeing outbound transportation network activity through performance analysis, carrier management, network optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures reliable planning, execution, visibility, and financial accuracy across a multi modal network through collaborative interactions with internal stakeholders, carrier partners, and third-party logistics providers.
The multi-modal outbound network optimizes Dedicated Delivery Service (DDS), LTL transportation, and other outbound logistics initiatives. The analyst leverages data and transportation expertise to identify opportunities, resolve operational challenges, and drives network performance to create positive customer impacts.

Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Oversee 3PL daily execution, ensuring service levels, process compliance, and performance expectations are met
- Monitor carrier performance and service metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze transportation data and develop recommendations to improve service, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for transportation disruptions and service failures.
- Support carrier sourcing activities, transportation bids, and strategic transportation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain transportation reporting, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Collaborate with PDC Operations, Sales, Customer Support, and Transportation teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement projects and other transportation-related responsibilities as assigned.
- Ensure timely and accurate carrier invoice processing, including CASS validation, GL coding accuracy, and cost-center alignment
Knowledge You Should Bring
- BS/BA with 2-4 years of relevant transportation, logistics, supply chain, distribution, or carrier management experience.
- 1 year of experience analyzing transportation operations, carrier performance, and service metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Experience with carrier management, transportation operations, or network optimization
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
- Knowledge of DDS, LTL, or other transportation modes
- Experience with SAP, TMS, Power BI, or similar analytical tools
- Continuous improvement or project management experience
