This role is focused on application layer development, RTE interaction, and embedded debugging, without any involvement in BSW development or configuration.
AUTOSAR Application SWC Development
- Design, implement, and maintain AUTOSAR Software Components (SWCs) using Embedded C.
- Develop runnables, port interfaces, and application logic as per functional/software requirements.
- Create and maintain Sender/Receiver (S/R) and Client/Server (C/S) communication interfaces.
- Implement state machines, control algorithms, and feature-specific logic within SWCs.
RTE Integration
- Ensure correct mapping of SWC ports to signals, parameters, and system descriptions (ARXML).
- Validate RTE generation outputs and resolve interface mismatches.
- Collaborate with integration teams to verify correct SWC ↔ RTE communication.
Embedded C Debugging & Analysis
- Perform deep debugging of embedded software
- Root-cause issues related to:
- RTE communication
- Interface misconfiguration
- Timing violations
- Pointer/heap/stack issues
- Use tools like: Trace32, GHS compiler, CANoe, oscilloscopes, and microcontroller IDEs.
Testing & Validation
