DTICI_SAP Technical Architect _BTP, Datasphere/Analytics Cloud (SAC)_T6

Key Tasks:

  • Design and evolve the SAP target architecture for DataSphere and Analytics Cloud.
  • Review, assess, and approve development and integration concepts.
  • Develop and implement SAP solutions using DataSphere and Analytics Cloud.
  • Define and enforce interface and integration standards (EDI, IDoc, API, OData) and the SAP AIF monitoring framework.
  • Co-own the technical roadmap and prioritize the development backlog.

  • Governance: Define and enforce coding, naming, security, monitoring, and clean-core guidelines; ensure upgrade and release stability.
  • Design: Data model, interface, and extensibility design (in-app vs. side-by-side); design the interface and error-handling framework on SAP AIF.
  • Monitoring: Implement performant, consistent data flows between DataSphere, Analytics Cloud, and other SAP modules, including AIF-based monitoring.

    • Functional knowledge in data integration and analytics.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP MM / S4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong command of SAP integration technologies: IDoc, EDI, OData, REST/SOAP.
    • SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) – architecture and governance of interface monitoring, error handling, and value mapping.
    • Experience with SAP middleware (SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite / Cloud Integration).
    • Solid ABAP/ABAP OO understanding of assess and steer development.
    • Clean-core principles and extensibility concepts (in-app/side-by-side, SAP BTP).
  • Methodologies:
    • Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe), DevOps fundamentals, ITIL, Clean Core.

Good-to-have:

  • SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network / Supplier Collaboration.
  • SAP BTP, CAP, RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
  • Automotive supply chains (JIT/JIS, VDA standards).
  • Architecture certifications (TOGAF, SAP Certified Application/Solution Architect).

Experience & Qualification:

  • 10+ years of total SAP experience, including 4+ years in a solution architecture or technical lead role.
  • Multiple end-to-end implementation and/or S4HANA transformation projects.
  • Domain experience in procurement/supply chain, ideally in an industrial or automotive environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. or equivalent).

Language Requirements:

  • English – fluent written and verbal communication (mandatory).
  • German – good to have/an added advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and ability to translate between business and development teams.
  • Confident stakeholder management across business, IT, and management levels.
  • Assertiveness in establishing and enforcing architecture and integration standards.
  • Structured, solution- and quality-oriented working style.
  • Leadership and coaching skills for internal and external (offshore) developers.
