Regulatory Affairs Specialist II

Join DTNA's Trade Compliance team and play a key role in protecting the company's import compliance and duty recovery programs. As a Post Entry Corrections Analyst II you will identify opportunities to improve customs compliance, recover duties, and ensure import transactions meet U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. Working closely with customs brokers, legal counsel, engineering, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders, you will support Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), protests, reconciliation activities, Section 232 and 301 initiatives, Chapter 99 reporting, and other post-entry compliance programs. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in customs regulations, duty recovery strategies, and global trade compliance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that support DTNA's import operations.

Position offers a starting salary range of $78,000 $100,000 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Analyze import transactions to identify post-entry correction opportunities and potential compliance risks.

  • Review customs entries for accuracy of HTS classification, country of origin, valuation, and trade program eligibility.

  • Prepare and coordinate Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), protests, reconciliation adjustments, and other post-entry filings.

  • Validate supporting documentation related to USMCA, Chapter 99, Section 232, Section 301, and other duty programs.

  • Partner with customs brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve entry discrepancies and support corrective actions.

  • Monitor submission status and assist with resolving ACE filing errors, CBP rejects, and broker inquiries.

  • Maintain audit-ready records supporting post-entry corrections and compliance activities.

  • Research CBP regulations, rulings, CSMS messages, and trade requirements impacting import compliance.

  • Develop reports, metrics, and data analyses to support compliance monitoring and duty recovery initiatives.

  • Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement projects that strengthen DTNA's import compliance program

 

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Finance, Logistics, or a related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Experience analyzing data and identifying issues, trends, or opportunities for corrective action.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business applications.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Experience with customs compliance, customs brokerage, import/export operations, or global trade compliance.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and import documentation requirements.

  • Experience with Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), protests, reconciliation activities, or duty recovery programs.

  • Knowledge of HTS classification, country of origin, customs valuation, or trade agreement eligibility requirements.

  • Familiarity with USMCA, Section 232, Section 301, Chapter 99, or other special tariff programs.

  • Experience working with ACE, customs entry systems, ERP systems, or trade compliance software.

  • Advanced Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills.

  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or process improvement initiatives.
