DTICI_SAP Technical Architect_ABAP Developer, specialization in SAP eWM & TM (T6)

Direct contribution to the stability of business-critical supplier interfaces, working with modern SAP technology (S/4HANA, SAP AIF, BTP, RAP) within a strong architecture-governance framework that enables clean, maintainable solutions.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and extend SAP functionality for Procurement / Supplier Management (ABAP / ABAP OO)

  • Build and maintain interfaces (IDoc, EDI, RFC, OData, APIs) including SAP AIF error handling and monitoring

  • Configure SAP MM / S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement in coordination with the business

  • Perform error analysis, debugging and performance optimization

  • Create technical documentation and support testing and go-live

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Development: Build reports, enhancements, interfaces and services according to architecture and design specifications.

  • Customizing: Configure procurement and supplier processes in coordination with the business.

  • Error analysis: Root-cause analysis, bug fixing and incident / problem handling (3rd level), including interface monitoring via SAP AIF.

  • Interfaces: Design and implement integration scenarios to suppliers and pre-systems, including AIF-based monitoring and alerting.

  • Experience in the SAP MM / procurement environment

Technical skills

  • Strong ABAP and ABAP OO skills

  • Experience with interface technologies: IDoc, EDI, RFC, OData / SAP Gateway, REST/SOAP

  • SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) – hands-on interface implementation, error handling, value mapping, monitoring and custom checks / actions

  • Enhancement techniques: BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Customer Exits

  • Debugging and performance analysis (SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, Code Inspector / ATC)

Methodologies

  • Agile (Scrum), Clean Code, transport management, ITIL basics

Good-to-have

  • SAP Ariba / SAP Business Network

  • CDS Views, RAP, SAP BTP / side-by-side extensions

  • EDIFACT / VDA mappings, automotive interfaces

  • S/4HANA migration / conversion experience

Experience & Qualification

  • 10-12  years of hands-on SAP ABAP development, ideally in a procurement / logistics environment

  • Experience in interface development and application support

  • Domain knowledge in procurement / supply chain is an advantage

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. or equivalent)
