We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to lead the end to end data-driven solutions life cycle for aftermarket division, from problem definition, exploratory analysis, incremental hypothesis validation, model development, deployment and monitoring. This role involves transforming complex business questions into actionable value generation insights and predictive models.

- Lead the definition, design and execution of data science projects across the aftermarket portfolio.
- Define business problems and translate them into analytical frameworks and solution strategies.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop, validate, and refine predictive and prescriptive models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
- Oversee deployment of models into production environments and establish monitoring frameworks to ensure performance and reliability.
- Continuously evaluate and improve models based on feedback, new data, and evolving business needs.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science with end to end model life cycle expereince.
- Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and modern data science libraries/frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
