Management Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Management Consultant to join the Daimler Truck Consulting International (DTCI) team. In this role, you will work on strategic and operational initiatives across various business units within Daimler Truck, helping solve complex business challenges and deliver sustainable improvements. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of consulting engagements, including strategy, process excellence, program and project management, organizational transformation, and digital enablement initiatives. Consultants are expected to demonstrate strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, think independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes in a global and multicultural environment.

 

Consulting: Lead and execute strategic consulting engagements across Daimler Truck business units, analyzing business challenges and developing practical recommendations.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, governance mechanisms, milestones, and success metrics.

Process Excellence: Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency initiatives using structured problem-solving approaches.

Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor strategic projects to ensure timely delivery and achievement of project objectives.

Digital Analytics: Utilize data analysis, research, and business insights to support decision-making and communicate findings through presentations and reports.

Digital Transformation: Support digital and business transformation initiatives by translating business requirements into actionable solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Management; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

  • Preferred Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in automotive, management consulting, strategy, project management, process excellence, or related business transformation domains.

  • Experience working on cross-functional projects and in client-facing environments, with global exposure.

  • Professional certifications are an added advantage, including PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
