We are looking for a motivated Engineer to support Body Controller ECU testing and software verification within the Vehicle Controls and Upfit domain. The role involves hands-on testing, basic automation, and working with CTB / iSIL environments to ensure software quality and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test scripts using Vector VTestStudio
Support Component Test Bench (Vector VT System) activities including:
Bench setup and configuration
Test execution and basic troubleshooting
Perform manual and automated testing, analyze results, and log defects
Collaborate with Component Owners, Feature Owners, and cross-functional teams
Follow defined test processes and contribute to continuous improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Computer Science
3–5 years of experience in automotive Verification & Validation (V&V) or functional testing
Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments
Technical Skills
Basic to working knowledge of:
Vector CANoe / VT System / VTestStudio
MATLAB (preferred but not mandatory)
Understanding of Automotive Systems & Architecture (Body Electronics exposure is a plus)
Familiarity with:
Communication Protocols: CAN, LIN (Ethernet is a plus)
Diagnostics: UDS (ISO 14229)
Scripting: CAPL (basic level)
Experience with tools like JIRA, GIT, DOORS (good to have)
Understanding of test methodologies and processes (ISTQB knowledge is a plus)
Hardware & Lab Skills
Basic experience with HiL setup and test execution
Understanding of ECU connections and wiring
Exposure to CAN/LIN interfaces and hardware
Basic usage of lab equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes
Good debugging and problem-solving skills
Certifications (Good to Have)
ISTQB Foundation/Advanced Level (preferred)
Exposure to Functional Safety / Cybersecurity concepts
Soft Skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative global environment
