The ideal candidate will be responsible in consolidating product strategy from diverse markets, acting as a key liaison between local teams and global product management. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Main Overview of Tasks

  • Consolidate product requirements and market insights from the Global South region (LAMEA and ISEAA), ensuring a comprehensive understanding of regional needs.
  • Act as the primary interface, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between local markets, regional product teams, and the global Product Management backbone.
  • Develop and implement robust requirements bundling and transparent prioritization frameworks to guide product development.
  • Ensure the integration of regional insights into global product strategies, balancing local market demands with global roadmap cycles.
  • Create and maintain strategic roadmaps, providing a clear vision for the regional product portfolio's evolution.
  • Manage cross-regional requirements, navigating the unique needs of diverse markets while maintaining alignment with global product development.
  • Provide vocational application expertise, offering practical insights to inform product development and enhance market relevance.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally, fostering collaboration between teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient product development process.
  • Generate and present market intelligence to decision-making forums, influencing strategic directions with data-driven insights.
  • Continuously optimize and enhance the regional product portfolio, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with market trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong preference for advanced degrees.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic planning, product management, or a similar role, with a focus on portfolio planning.

     

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful strategic initiatives in international environments.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer trends in the Global South region.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through the ability to interpret complex data and market insights.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques, enabling effective communication of insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and decision-makers.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes, ensuring effective collaboration with regional and global teams.

 

Language

  • Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
  • Portuguese, Spanish, or German are added advantage.
