Inside the Role
As a System Integration Technician, you will play a key role in installing and updating prototype vehicles with emerging technologies. This includes implementing new components, building and testing wiring‑harness overlays, and integrating future systems before production parts are available. You will also diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support test setup and operations to ensure vehicles are ready for successful testing.Posting Information

Position offers an hourly range of $34.13 to $43.75 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Support software updates and testing by working with engineers on updates and wire changes on test vehicles while diagnosing potential issues caused by the updates.
- Work with Mechanical Engineering Technicians on test vehicle prep to support engineering test activities.
- Design and troubleshoot advanced systems and focus on how to integrate these systems into existing design concepts.
- Support testing activities over the road by directly performing the tests or being part of the team available to make field repairs and changes.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Requires Bachelor's degree with focus in electrical or software and prefer 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires specialized expertise in technical processes or procedures as required of the role.
- Works autonomously within established procedures and guidelines.
- May be required to facilitate the work activities of others and coordinate work beyond own area.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Class A driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
- Back ground in software installation and functionality.
- Experience in wire harness assemblies, pin to pin checks and repairs.
