Area Parts Manager - Distribution Network

  • Achieve area-wise Parts & Lubes sales targets (Wholesale & Retail).
  • Improve parts penetration and market share in the assigned territory.
  • Drive distributor network expansion as per area potential.
  • Ensure effective implementation of DICV policies and sales processes.
  • Provide structured market intelligence inputs to Parts HQ.

 

  1. Drive distributor and team to achieve Parts & Lubes targets.

  2. Increase penetration and recover lost market share.

  3. Monitor product group-wise performance.

  4. Review distributor sales, inventory, and outstanding regularly.

  5. Ensure stock availability and coordinate with PLC for supply issues.

  6. Ensure timely payment collection as per policy.

  7. Ensure distributor adherence to DICV guidelines and process standards.

  8. Drive effective implementation of schemes and maximize benefits.

  9. Expand retailer/mechanic network through market combing.

  10. Plan and execute local marketing activities.

  11. Strengthen market presence and brand visibility.

  12. Capture competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.

  13. Share insights with HQ for corrective actions.

  14. Conduct training and team-building programs for distributor staff.

B.E /B. tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engg. with 3 to 6 yrs of experience in parts retail sales (CV - Parts is preferred)

Should be highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel / MS Power point).

Skillset:           

  • Strong understanding of CV parts retail market
  • Good analytical skills (Excel-based reporting & tracking)
  • Basic commercial understanding (margin, ROI, working capital)
  • Strong field execution and follow-up skills
  • Good communication and distributor relationship management
  • Problem-solving and negotiation ability
  • Willingness to travel extensively within territory

B.E /B. tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engg. with 3 to 6 yrs of experience in parts retail sales (CV - Parts is preferred)
