Inside the Role
The HR Operations Specialist plays a key role in our people efforts by providing general assistance to various functional areas within DTNA’s Our People Team (OPT). A primary component of this role is high volumes of detailed and accurate processing with a Human Resources Information System and requires learning, demonstrating, and ensuring compliance with company requirements for processing of a variety of actions related to core HR and payroll transactions. This role is critical to providing top-level HR support to internal stakeholders as well as to DTNA employees by ensuring timely and accurate processing of data. In this role, you will gain a well-rounded view of HR Operations and various OPT departments through providing support and partnership to other OPT employees.Posting Information

Position offers a starting salary range of $58,000 - $75,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Review, analyze, and process transactions within DTNA’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday. This includes, but is not limited to, new hires, transfers, promotions, step progression schedules, terminations, etc.
- Monitor and maintain, with a customer service mindset, DTNA’s Workforce Administration pool email. This includes shop floor job changes that get processed into Workday and general questions related to Workday processes and helping DTNA’s OPT Workday users.
- Provide process guidance to OPT departments that interface with DTNA’s HRIS system, escalating to the appropriate departments as needed for assistance and/or review
- Maintain a customer service mindset while managing shared e-mail box inquiries and providing assistance to DTNA’s OPT Workday users
- Provide feedback on core HR processes to help identify process improvements to further streamline internal processes, minimize redundancies, and improve accuracy of transactions
- Maintain employee service dates, union seniority dates, step progression dates, etc.
- Responsible for DTNA's time off policy.
- Perform workforce audits and identify required corrections to ensure data accuracy
- Partner with Daimler Global Org to support consistency between local and global HR systems
- Other tasks, duties, projects, and assignments as required
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Customer Service and/or HR generalist or related field experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with quickly changing environments
- Customer focused with a growth and process improvement mind-set
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to communicate clearly and problem solve
- Ability to critically examine data and information for accuracy prior to processing
- Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to approach work with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- HR Generalist experience
- Workday experience
- Experience with Excel
- Familiarity with both union and non-union work groups
