Senior Program Manager

This opening for L5 position in AS&A for CoShift team - Highway Safety Features and Cross Functions

 

  • Lead the Development & Validation or Framework team of Active Safety & Automation @ DTICI

  • Responsible for software development of ADAS features and performance KPI reporting based on field data simulations and analytics for ADAS L2 driving. 

  • Leads the teams that develop and test ADAS functions and features with optimum efficiency and robust quality in compliance with standards (e.g. Functional Safety - ISO26262, MISRA, model based development - MAAB) in collaboration with global R&D teams
  • Validation of algorithms through generating performance KPIs from field data or simulated data, utilizing and maintaining the simulation tool and necessary server setup
  • Automation of processes, reports, dashboards, validation platforms (like component test bench) for efficiency enhancements and faster development of products

  • High-level decision makers in-coordination with stakeholders for the process automations, global reporting of function performance reports, software development for responsible features. 

  • Team development and performance management. 

  • Assess software and system issues to find solutions to them as per requirements. 

  • Collaborate with departments across the organization and partners/suppliers as applicable for multiple disciplinary topics. 

  • Encourage team members to think creatively as well as keep them motivated. 

  • Development and practice of methods related to agile software. 

  • Ensure all deliverables from DTICI meet the expected quality, cost and time expectation, making sure that team remains as value responsible for ownership topics.

  • Collaborating with global stakeholders to progress together on AS&A topics.

Contribute to TT/S11 and TT/S35 strategic topics in perspective of growth of Customer Domain and Reporting Department

Basic Qualification / Job Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Electrical & Electronics with 14-18 years of experience in Automotive Electronics product development (Software Development, System Engineering & Validation)
  • Experience on ADAS domain knowledge for feature development and validation, understanding performances of various functions like AEBS, ACC, Lane Assist Features (LKA, LDP, LDW), CTA and more. 
  • Subsequently understanding development using Embedded C, Matlab/Simulink and how to measure critical performances of these features and software modules like perception, fusion, controllers (lateral & longitudinal) and so on
  • Experienced with various validation technique for unite testing (polyspace, GTest, Mishra C guidelines, etc.), component HIL (e.g, test bench setup, CANoe, CAPL, python, etc.), requirement and test management (e.g., DOORS/ELM, etc.), and executing necessary automations projects in preferred languages like python, C++, etc.
  • Knowledge on DevOps and related process which would include CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT Tooling, reporting using PowerBI, handling related IT infrastructure (e.g., data server across the globe).
  • Intercultural experience working with Germany and USA
  • Strong experience in Project & People Management including strategy definition for engineering teams delivering automotive products and solutions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes
