Accounts Receivable Management
- Oversee end-to-end AR processes: invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Monitor dealer/customer outstanding balances and ensure adherence to credit terms.
- Implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue receivables and bad debts.
- Conduct periodic reviews of customer accounts and aging analysis.
2. Credit Control & Risk Management
- Define and enforce credit policies aligned with OEM business strategy.
- Assess dealer/customer creditworthiness using financial analysis and market intelligence.
- Mitigate risks by monitoring exposure and recommending corrective actions.
3. Cash Flow Forecast vs Actuals
- Drive timely collections to support liquidity and working capital requirements.
- Collaborate with Treasury for cash forecasting and fund planning.
- Align AR collection targets; Warranty payout targets with monthly cash Flow plans.
4. ERP & Automation
- Lead ERP enhancements for AR modules (SAP/D2S/ DMS).
- Implement automation tools (AI, BOTs, dashboards) for faster reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of AR data and seamless integration with sales and warranty claim systems.
5. Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and ICS compliance as applicable.
- Maintain documentation for receivable processes and credit approvals.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Dealer Network Development, and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes.
- Act as finance liaison for dealer satisfaction on billing and claims.
- Liaison with Banks for export realization, A2 Payments; EDPMS clearing.
- Provide insights to leadership on receivable trends and risks and timely escalate risks.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor AR team members in outsourced teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive performance metrics (DSO, overdue %, collection efficiency).
- Recognize and motivate team contributions in process improvements.
- AR Aging management, Issue Dunning letters as per credit policy.
- Ensure implementation of credit policy, achieve cash flow forecast.
- Timely of reconciliations and reporting, completion of Audits, Liasioning with Group Co.
- Dealer satisfaction scores related to billing/claims.
- Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of Experience or MBA (Finance) / M.Com with minimum 6–8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Finance.
- Prior experience in Automotive OEM or large-scale manufacturing is highly desirable.
