Engine Test bench front line supervisor

To lead and manage engine durability testing activities, ensuring long-term performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves planning, supervising test execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engine durability testing activities including dynamometer and load tests.

  • Develop and execute test plans aligned with project and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of test equipment and facilities.

  • Analyse test data to identify trends, failures, and improvement opportunities.

  • Document procedures, results, and corrective actions.

  • Monitor test progress using tools such as AVL PUMA, and AVI test equipment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product validation and improvement.

  • Train and mentor technicians and junior engineers.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

  • Troubleshoot testing issues and implement timely solutions.

  • Present findings and reports to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with engine test cells and dynamometer systems.

  • Test Tools: AVL PUMA, IASYS, AVI, INCA 

  • Engine Systems: CRDI, Turbocharged engines, After-treatment systems 

  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and team coordination skills
