We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Cycle Count Engineer to manage and execute cycle count activities across planning, execution, reporting, stock correction, and audits. The role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with standards, and smooth coordination between warehouse, finance, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
?? Planning
- Develop yearly, monthly, and daily cycle count plans based on W2W results and defined criteria.
- Coordinate manpower, resources, and tools for year-end inventory counts.
- Prepare and share part lists with team leads for execution.
?? Counting & Monitoring
- Monitor plan vs actual cycle count performance daily.
- Execute immediate cycle counts for critical/shortage parts.
- Support year-end inventory monitoring and reporting.
- Conduct COGI parts counting and root cause identification.
?? Reporting
- Prepare daily IM & WM level reports and area-wise summaries.
- Generate monthly KPI reports (P3 & P4) and quarterly finance reports.
- Share open TO monitoring reports and W2W pre-checks.
- Consolidate year-end IM & WM level reports.
?? Stock Correction
- Post discrepancies in IN & PS against daily cycle counts.
- Reverse incorrect postings from IN & PS.
- Identify and report alternate/wrong part usage errors.
- Manage 201 postings for WIP locations.
?? Root Cause Analysis
- Perform revalidation and recounting for abnormal discrepancies.
- Conduct E2E system analysis for critical/shortage parts.
- Support RPA bot analysis for automated anomaly detection.
?? Meetings & Audits
- Lead daily morning meetings to review plan vs actual and findings.
- Present monthly KPI accuracy reports to management.
- Participate in finance meetings as required.
- Prepare documentation for IATF audits and support external inventory audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field with 3-5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP WM/IM modules and cycle count processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, automation, reporting).
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and audits.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (IATF, external audits).
- Team leadership and training capability.
