About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Customer Service & Parts Key Account Manager to join our Customer Service Delivery team.

In this role, you will manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key truck fleet customers, working closely with our retailer partners to maximise vehicle uptime, customer satisfaction, and the growth of genuine OEM parts and service solutions.

You will play a vital role in strengthening customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional aftersales experience aligned with the Daimler Truck brand.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Account Management

  • Manage a defined portfolio of key truck fleet customers, acting as the primary contact for customer service and parts support.
  • Develop and deliver structured account engagement strategies, working with senior stakeholders and retailer partners.
  • Maintain complete and transparent records of all fleet customer interactions.

 

Commercial Growth

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities that drive parts sales and downstream service revenues.
  • Develop and implement business development plans for assigned key accounts aligned with Daimler Truck strategic priorities.
  • Deliver agreed net revenue customer-pay parts targets.

 

Customer Service Excellence

  • Work closely with retailer partners to improve service delivery and customer experience.
  • Use your technical and industry expertise to support the resolution of operational and technical issues for key accounts.
  • Make informed decisions on goodwill spend (within agreed frameworks) to support customer retention and satisfaction.

 

Brand & Representation

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Daimler Truck, representing our products, services, and values with customers and partners.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that enhance the customer perception of the Daimler Truck brand and experience.

 

Culture & Compliance

  • Operate in line with Daimler Truck’s integrity, compliance, and ethical standards, including anti-bribery and competition law policies.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone with strong commercial awareness, industry expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both customers and retailer partners.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of the HGV aftersales industry, including retailer operations.
  • Experience in sales, account management, or aftersales within the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Understanding of truck service, maintenance requirements, and commercial fleet practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate deal quality and opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and articulate strategic direction.

 

Qualifications

  • Ideally degree qualified or equivalent experience in a commercial or business discipline.

Additional Requirements

  • This is a field-based role, therefore a full and clean UK driving licence is required.
