Objective of the position:

Work with an agile and motivated IT Manufacturing Systems team to develop the next generation Manufacturing Control System (MCS) and Offline Management System (OMT)for DTNA.    Provide creative design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for a complex business application. You will actively work with business representatives and corporate teams to analyze business needs, gather and document business, system requirements and provide communication between the IT project teams and the plants business team

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

  • 1+ years of .Net development experience required.
  • SQL and relational databases experience required.
  • Experience integrating web services and APIs required.
  • Strong working experience with MS Azure preferred
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript preferred
  • Experience with Jenkins preferred
  • Experience with web/mobile application development preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Analysis and problem solving.

  • Planning and organization.

Academic Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field with 1 years of progressively responsible IT experience

Main Functions:

  • Software development. Deliver quality software / code in a timely manner following the DTNA Secure Coding standards Ensure software developed adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews.
  • Solution design. Understand and effectively communicate .Net features and limitations in the context of design and development decisions. Contribute to technical requirements, architecture, and interface design. Deliver estimation of development tasks.
  • Software deployment / build management. Perform unit testing to prove successful coding.  Support system testing and user acceptance testing. Contribute to and facilitate build and deployment activities Work with application owner to deploy code to production.  Provide go-live support.
  • Conduct peer code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot application problems and document outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technology trends.
