Dealer Systems, Process and Programmes Specialist

We have an opportunity for a Dealer Systems, Process and Programmes Specialist waiting just for you. Reporting into the Head of Customer Service Deliveryyou will define, develop and implement best practice processes, systems and programmes within the Truck Service and Parts Network in the UK.

 

More about the role

  • Create a process and systems optimisation strategy for Service and Parts in the UK, in collaboration with the Head of Customer Service Delivery. To effectively communicate the strategy to colleagues and dealer partners, using influence to secure their participation.

  • Development of standardised systems and process requirements in dealer Service, Parts and Administration. To project manage the roll-out of new central systems portfolio to the dealer network. To maintain relationships with Daimler Truck AG projects teams and give feedback on future developments and the impact to the UK Market.
  • Together with outsourced resource and the Dealer Development Managers, ensure that processes and systems are successfully implemented and deliver the intended optimisation of customer service. To regularly meet on-site with dealers and external suppliers to manage performance. Apply extensive retailer experience and specialist knowledge to create solutions to retailer objections and programme challenges.
  • Support CSi and Behavioural Change in the Truck Network as part of the process optimisation, driving an attitude and language that is more customer oriented.

  • Create and maintain relationships with both dealer network partners and 3rd party suppliers and service providers. Manage contractors and consultants to deliver projects on budget and to deadlines. To act as an ambassador for the brand to HGV industry bodies and to engage in working groups and forums to forward our goals

  • Collaborate with other departments in issue resolution pertaining to key suppliers.

About you

This role requires expert knowledge of the HGV aftersales industry, including retailer operations and systems, along with a strong understanding of the wider commercial landscape. Candidates should ideally have experience with IT development processes and demonstrate strong project management capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and sound decision‑making abilities. 

The position is for someone who can influence effectively, prioritise a varied workload, take ownership of responsibilities, and adapt to a changing environment. Exceptional presentation skills are essential, as is a full, clean driving licence with the ability to travel frequently within the UK (over 50%).
