1. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Run and analyze MRP in SAP to determine material shortages, propose procurement plans, and maintain uninterrupted production.
- Create, review, and release schedules and Planned Orders generated by MRP.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and suppliers for lead times, delivery schedules, and urgent requirements.
- Maintain accurate MRP master data including lead times, safety stock, minimum order quantities, and lot sizes.
- Monitor and resolve exceptions in SAP MRP lists, ensuring timely actions.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring slow-moving, non‑moving, and critical stock.
- Reduce excess inventory, implement stock optimization strategies, and maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Track consumption patterns and propose improvements for material planning and forecasting.
3. SAP System Operations
- Work with SAP modules (MM/PP/WM) for MRP, stock overview, PR creation, GR posting, and BOM review.
- Ensure correct posting of material movements (GR, GI, transfer postings).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SAP-related issues.
4. Production & Supply Coordination
- Align material planning with the production plan, ensuring availability aligned with daily/weekly schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery and manage any supply disruptions.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) with material planning and BOM validation.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on material availability, MRP issues, and inventory KPIs.
- Track and improve metrics like stock turns, material shortages, service levels, and inventory accuracy.
- Use SAP analytics and Excel for data analysis and decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–8+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, or inventory management.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM/PP/WM modules).
- Good understanding of BOM, lead times, safety stock, and production planning processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / data analysis.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
