Sales Systems and Master Data Specialist

We have an opportunity for a Sales Systems and Master Data Specialist waiting just for you. Reporting into the Head of Sales Support, Planning and Reporting, you will be responsible for the maintenance, production, and distribution of key sales support systems for Daimler Truck UK product offerings.  To audit and review key system specification and pricing data prior to publication to the dealer network to ensure accuracy and validity.  To support and educate dealer network with sales systems and drive forward implementation of sales system best practise. 

To work closely with Daimler Truck AG central colleagues and senior Daimler Truck UK colleagues to ensure the constant review and update of critical vehicle master data to ensure the accuracy of our commercial offerings to our dealers and customers. You will act as the key point of reference for our dealer partners in order to investigate and resolve data and system issues.  Propose and lobby to HQ sales system developments and upgrades.

 

More about the role

Sales Systems (SAM, Truckpad). Responsible for the development, maintenance, production and distribution of the UK versions of Mercedes-Benz Truck and Fuso Canter Sales Offering Systems, including functional integration with other Daimler Truck UK and group systems. Support training on use of these systems for the dealer network and promote best practise in system utilisation. 

Wholesale System (OneWholesale). Responsible for supporting improvements in business processes and related system developments.  Ensure that the maintenance, production and distribution of the UK versions are up to date.

Master Data (MDS). Responsible for analysing day to day master data issues. Support the Dealer network and internal sales teams by ensuring the data held within the sales systems is both accurate and up to date, including vehicle pricing. 

Registration data. Ensure accurate and up to date registration data (MVRIS/SMMT codes) exists to enable dealers to register vehicles in an accurate and timely manner.

You will be someone who can confidently prioritise tasks and work effectively under extremely tight deadlines. Highly numerate, with exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail, you bring proven problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse business processes and deliver practical solutions. While you thrive as part of a team, you are equally capable of working independently and maintaining high standards. Ideally, you will have knowledge of the Daimler Truck product offering and familiarity with systems such as SAM, TruckPad, CESAR, AFAB, SFM, MDS, and Neptune. Strong IT skills, combined with an understanding of vehicle data flows, system processes, and business analysis, would be a distinct advantage.

This is a full-time hybrid role, where you would be required to work form our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.
