Internship in the field of Corporate Climate Governance starting from April 2026

In our team “Corporate Climate Governance” we are working on Daimler Truck AG’s climate strategy in the areas of product, production and supply chain together with our expert teams. We are part of Daimler Truck’s sustainability reporting (e.g. CSRD and CDP). Furthermore, we are calculating the corporate GHG-Emissions of Daimler Truck AG to track our environmental impact.
 

 

These challenges await you:

  •  Support the team determining environmental impacts through GHG-Accounting using GHG-Protocol and internal guidance

  • Assist in communicating the areas / levers of influence that are most impactful to improve and identify value drivers within the GHG-Inventory

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data owners across the business to define key metrics to be used for measurement and reporting

  • Assist team members in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and materials for Management Meetings and Townhalls

  • Support the team in collecting and filling in climate performance data for our CDP report

  • Support the team in concepting and executing decarbonization efforts in the supply chain

  • Furthermore you can get insights into the work of our colleagues in the areas of environmental protection and energy management

  • Degree course: Sustainability management, Environmental sciences, environmental engineering or a comparable course of study with a focus on sustainability or environment

  • Language skills: Good German and English skills, spoken and written - team is working in English

  • IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office, very good knowledge of PowerPoint, Think cell and Excel

  • Experience with sustainability reporting and GHG-Accounting is preferred

  • Personal skills: structured way of working, high commitment and analytical thinking, ability to work in a team, communication skills, self-initiative
