Used Truck Analyst and Project Coordinator

Sitting within our Used Trucks Finance and Administration team here at Daimler Trucks UK, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Used Truck Analyst and Project Coordinator waiting just for you. Reporting into the Team Leader, you will support Used Truck sales by providing proactive sales administration support and data analysis and coordination of the project to implement and integrate the IUCCA system in the UK. 

 

More about the role

  • Capture all required details of returning vehicles and ensure they go through the inspection and recharge process in a timely manner. Work with colleagues to forecast returns and ensure volumes are communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparation of daily and monthly stock reports, detailing accounting and sales status and resolving issues that may delay the remarketing process, liaising with DTFS, external workshop and technical specialists to progress vehicles smoothly through the inspection and recharges process.
  • Calculation of late return fees, excess mileage and damage costs and processing of recharges with support of technical specialists. Communication with DTFS in order to respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Data analysis and reporting of all topics relating to Used sales results, preparation costs, dealer performance, Used stock volume, stock aging, external workshop KPI performance and other topics requested by management. Implement ongoing automation and report improvements.

  • Support sales administrator and progressor when required and constantly share job information so that each can fully cover for the other role to help with high workloads, holidays and sickness and to protect against a single point of failure.

  • Work with management to coordinate the project work required to implement the IUCCA system in the UK, ensure processes are mapped and documented, ensure system interfaces are operational and implement ongoing improvements to processes and interfaces.

  • Professional/Advanced Power BI (Incl. DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot)

  • Databases (SQL) – Ability to query databases and structure financial data efficiently

  • Excel Mastery – Financial modelling and Macros (VBA) Power Automate

This is a full time hybrid role, where you would be required to work form our office based in Barnsley.
