Timely readiness and 100% correctness of Bill of Material for the vehicle planned
- BOM readiness in line with the sales and production planning
- Maintenance of the material master data and communication to stakeholders
- Proactively address issues of BOM mismatches, programming errors etc.
- Analysis of COGI/Schedule
- Implementation of Engineering Changes in Alignment with Stake Holders
- Receive and analyse engineering changes
- Communication of changes to stakeholders to plan their activities
- Align change implementation date with stakeholders
- Track and implement changes per the time plan
- Stock Adjustment in system
- Availability of Purchase request for P release parts to procurement, Ensure source of supply in place prior to launch and Changes and material masters
- Identify parts in terms of In-house, local and Import
- Release Purchase requests to procurement, Align supportability of import parts from Daimler overseas plant,
- Track and ensure source of supplies are in place prior to launch
- Support Quality initiatives and new projects,
- Logistics representation in Project Core Team
- Ensure readiness of all the backbones to support new projects – HDT and MDT
- Support quality related topics on priority
- Physical BOM validation
- Compare BOM with actual fitment at Production
- Highlight discrepancies, if any
- Communicate with stakeholders- R&D, IPL, and PPS etc.
Address system and processes gaps
Scheduling / MRP / Inventory management
Monitoring of schedule / MRP releases to supplier
Maintenance of MRP parameters in the system
Preparation of weekly / Monthly reports (MRP / Inventory)
Analysis of the schedule releases to suppliers
SOB analysis
Analysis of Non moving / Slow moving / obsolescence parts
Analysis on schedule variance : Short term / long term
