Transportation Carrier Management Coordinator

Objective of the position: Coordinate the performance KPI’s for DTNA and DVCM Transportation Service Providers servicing DTNA’s inbound production Transportation Networks in NAFTA. Ensure KPI accuracy and communicate results to participating carriers with the goal to improve individual and network performance. The job requires great interpersonal, project management and time management skills. In addition, coordinate some activities from the Integrated Logistic Centers Inbound Collection Route Networks as well as coordination of expedited shipments.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

  • Experience with process mapping and design
  •  Knowledge of transportation logistics processes and concept
  •  Knowledge of vehicle manufacturing industry and logistics
  • 1 year of group lead / project lead / mentoring experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Power BI
  • English level: C1 Advanced

Academic Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; advanced degree preferred

Main Functions:

-Oversee the tactical management of carrier performance KPI application for all service providers of managed services Logistics Service Provider (world class 3PL provider)

-Collaborate with Logistics Service Provider (world class 3PL provider) in Plant staff efforts to ensure supply chain visibility, load density, carrier compliance and Plant interface for DVCM Local Network, and DTNA/DVCM ILC networks.

-Execute the goals and milestones of various work projects, including but not limited to re-designing the processes for the management of the operations of DTNA’s Local Network and LTL

-Collaborate in the realization of initiatives in cross work stream project teams in all aspects including, but not limited to, project planning with goal definition and milestone setting, close collaboration and alignment with supply chain partners
