The role:
Daimler Truck Financial Services has a new and exciting 1 year contract position for a Project Delivery Lead. Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, and in a critical role within the Information Technology (IT) Project team, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of SaaS platform configurations in line with the wider project objectives. As the Project Delivery Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering on-time releases and creating transparency across teams by combining project management disciplines, agile facilitation, and vendor release coordination for a complex and new project due to kick off in January, from initiation through to completion and release. The focus of this role will be on delivering tangible outcomes such as accelerating time-to-market, reducing delivery risk, and maintaining team harmony.
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of SaaS configuration initiatives
Plan and manage release schedules with vendors and internal teams
Partner with internal and vendor team members to guide the definition of scope, timelines, and resource plans
Track progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery against agreed milestones
Ensure consistent, predictable delivery, impediment removal, and alignment with business/project priorities
Identify process bottlenecks and implement agile best practices to remedy
Ensure teams adhere to release governance and quality standards
Coordinate dependencies across environments and stakeholders
Who we are looking for:
As the successful candidate, you will be an experienced Delivery lead with a proven track record of working in complex, multi-team initiatives, ideally in SaaS implementations or technology environments. You will have previously managed vendor relationships while leading and coordinating teams to agreed and measurable outcomes. A clear communicator, your ability to manage a variety of senior stakeholders and confidently engage teams will be well-developed.
You will also be degree qualified in IT, Business or a related field, along with relevant Agile, Project Management or Release Management certifications.

This is a local, contract role. You must have a valid working visa for Australia / New Zealand for the entire length of the contract, to be able to apply for this position.
