Senior Executive - Payroll & Governance

Handles end-to-end payroll operations including salary processing, reimbursements, settlements, tax compliance, statutory contributions, gratuity, bonus, expatriate payroll, audits, and reporting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely employee support.

 

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes including input collection, validation, processing, reconciliations, and timely salary disbursement while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

  • Oversee reimbursements, full & final settlements, year-end tax activities, and statutory contributions (PF, PT, ESI, LWF, TDS), ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

  • Validate payroll outputs, prepare bank advice, journal vouchers, and coordinate with service providers, finance, and treasury teams for smooth payroll and statutory payments.

  • Handle expatriate and impact payroll processes, including foreign currency payouts, GAM IT reporting, and coordination with external vendors such as EY and OSHRS.

  • Administer gratuity, statutory bonus, and actuarial activities by liaising with HR, LIC, finance, and auditors to ensure proper funding, renewal, claims processing, and compliance.

  • Support audits (internal, statutory, IGGAP, IFSR, ICS) by preparing payroll-related reports, reconciliations, and documentation, and address observations as required.

  • Provide MIS and manual reports (monthly/annual) including payroll, statutory, and headcount summaries for management decision-making.

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on payroll, tax, PF, and compensation-related queries, ensuring prompt resolution and guidance.
