Job Overview
To provide a professional and cost-effective reliability growth testing solution to Daimler AG and DTBSA in compliance to the Company's Integrity, Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy, Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality requirements and to perform delegated SHERQ tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Electronic data capture, analysis and reporting.
Engine evaluation in conjunction with the customer.
Preparation of test trucks according to customer/test requirements.
Monitor test progress, reporting on failures and observations.
Engine inspection preparation, reporting and presenting.
Test truck inspections and root cause investigation.
Engine teardown (Intermediate & final inspections).
Matric and a 3-year diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
Code EC license (Code 14) an advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the specialized field.
Special Knowledge:
Computer Literacy (MS Office suite).
Engineering software (FiNAS, MARC, Monaco, CaNAPE)
Analysis of measurement data and storage thereof.
Advanced fault finding on diesel engines.
